The Computer and Media Dealers Association (CMDA) has organised an IT Expo 2011 at College of Engineering Pune ground between December 15 to 18. Mahesh Pathak, commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation, will inaugurate the expo.
Smartlink Network System's executive chairman K R Naik will be present as the chief guest. This is the 14th year of the exhibition.
The main objective behind the exhibition is to promote and display latest technology. CMDA provides neutral platform to all IT vendors to showcase their latest technologies.
Visitors can see and feel PC's, laptops, tablets, printers, servers, networking products, new application software, UPS, monitors, net-books, digital cameras, scanners, plotters, multifunction devices, bio metric devices, back-up devices, antivirus software, consumables, Touch pads and many such latest gadgets.
Apart from hardware display visitors can see lot of IT solutions to enhance IT usage. The expo's theme is 'Touch 'IT' to Cloud' as the world is moving fast towards Cloud technology.
This year there will be special promotional programmes for e-waste problems. These programmes will include the promotion of green IT products, power saving techniques, e-waste management programmes for IT users, dealers and vendors.
Every year CMDA conducts technical seminars during the IT Expo. This year the association will conduct 12 technical seminars. The main purpose of seminars is to highlight new technology, career opportunities and latest technology trends. Industry experts are invited to deliver lectures.
